History

RTL Potato was founded in 1928 by the grandfather of today's CEO Rik Tanghe.

After the sudden death of his father 15 years ago, Rik Tanghe took over the family company. As the 23 year old son of the former CEO, he had to win the trust of the farmers and buyers.

Now, RTL Potato is one of the biggest players in the potato industry, both in terms of purchasing and sales power.
